Corporate Services - Counselling in Organisations
RCC can offer employers two levels of service; either on an 'as needed' basis or on annual contract basis.
On an 'as needed' basis
This is particularly suitable for those employers who believe that they may only have an infrequent need to offer counselling to their employees. This may be, for example, to help in resolving isolated instances of work-related stress sickness absence. In such cases the employer may refer the employee directly to the Centre for an assessment. If suitable this would typically be followed by an initial six sessions of counselling after which the employer and employee can meet to discuss progress and decide whether continued counselling may be beneficial. Fees are payable by the employer at the following rates:
- Initial assessment: £65.00
- Subsequent sessions: £60.00 per session
Annual Contract
Suitable for larger employers or those who wish to provide their employees with the opportunity to self refer. An annual contract fee is calculated on the basis of the employer's total personnel headcount and through an assessment of historic sickness absence records
Under an annual contract, employees are able to self-refer themselves for counselling on a confidential basis and, if considered suitable for counselling may continue in counselling without further charge to the employer (subject to the terms and conditions of the contract).
Counselling will normally take place outside of normal working hours thereby avoiding any disruption to the employer's operations.
